I’m thinking about buying a friend a fire pit. I called the town where she lives and the clerk said they are allowed, but all NYS laws apply, such as distance away from the house. etc.. I looked online and I can’t find any of the codes/laws. Could someone shed a little light on this? [...]

i know that i can use craigslist to find apartments, but it there like an online new paper so i can find open houses in the Philly area and see multiple apartments, while I’m there visiting for a day or two ??
