His property line meets our house wall.

What is a better strategy? reducing our home price on Open House (Sat) or the following Monday? http://www.openhousereviews.com/open-house-listing/what-is-a-better-strategy-reducing-our-home-price-on-open-house-sat-or-the-following-monday/ http://www.openhousereviews.com/open-house-listing/what-is-a-better-strategy-reducing-our-home-price-on-open-house-sat-or-the-following-monday/#comments Sat, 01 May 2010 21:46:31 +0000 Admin http://www.openhousereviews.com/?p=33 My husband wants to wait until next Monday to lower the price if we still don’t get offers on this coming up weekend’s open house. Our listed price has been the same for the last 2 months with no bites. Any advice from the pros?
We’ve had an open house every Saturday for the past 4 months with about average of 7 "groups" that stop by.

How critical is the experience level of the realestate buyer's agent? http://www.openhousereviews.com/open-house-realestate/how-critical-is-the-experience-level-of-the-realestate-buyers-agent/ http://www.openhousereviews.com/open-house-realestate/how-critical-is-the-experience-level-of-the-realestate-buyers-agent/#comments Thu, 29 Apr 2010 18:41:46 +0000 Admin http://www.openhousereviews.com/?p=9 I am in the market for buying a home in silicon valley California. I was visiting an open house and got talking with the agent there. According to her it is important that the buyers agent has over 3 years of experience. An offer will get accepted based on the $ amount offered, experience of the agent and how he/she presents the offer and how well known the buyer’s agent is. Hiring an agent who is relatively new and less known will definitely hurt the buyer.
I was wondering how true this is. Also what is involved in "presenting" an offer, what does the buyers agent do?
Thanks
MNN
